Easy Tea Recipes: Ember Glow Milk Tea

You know that feeling you get when you're so tired, but you just can't sleep? That's how we feel every morning.

We wake up, and the world is a dark, dreary place. We're exhausted, and we just want to crawl back into bed. But then we smell the Spicy Vanilla Tea Latte—and suddenly it doesn't matter if it's 4am or 10am or 2pm on a Tuesday. We're ready to take on the day! 

We use Ember Glow to make our Ember Glow Milk Tea so that when you're feeling sleepy you will have the blend of black tea, cardamom and a whisper of chilli, to give you that extra boost you need to get through whatever's coming our way. Just one inhale of its punchy aroma and we feel invigorated from the first sip!

Cardamom has been prized by cultures across the globe since ancient times for both its distinct fragrance and taste—not to mention its health benefits. It helps keep your mind sharp and focused throughout the day (so you can get more done), and it also boosts your metabolism so you can burn more calories throughout the day.

Equipments you will need

Your favourite mug, muddler, measuring cup, measuring spoon, timer

Prep time

5 minutes


1 cup (we have a 300ml mug)

Ingredients you will need

1 teabag Ember Glow

150ml Hot water

15g muddled ginger

15ml Vanilla Ginger Sucré 

Choice of Milk:

2 tablespoon Condensed milk
100ml Soy milk

  1. Peel the skin off the ginger. Slice thinly, then muddle the ginger.
  2. Steep tea bag and ginger for 4 minutes.
  3. For a hot beverage, froth soy milk.
  4. Add Vanilla Ginger Sucré and choice of milk. Stir well.
  5. Remove tea bag and ginger.
  6. Lightly dust with nutmeg or cinnamon powder before serving.
