First Bloom Meditation

Welcome to your safe space

I hope you will all experience deep presence and restoration through the sensual pleasures of the five senses. Each meditation teases and heightens your senses, guiding you to a sweet, liminal state of connection to your deeper Self.

OPEN CAPTION

First Bloom Meditation

Hold your teacup with both hands. Close your eyes and savour three deep, nourishing breaths.

Lift the cup to just under your nostrils. Allow the aromatic wafts of tea leaves to tantalize thepassage of your nostrils as you inhale deeply.

Exhale completely. Notice the sensations in your body.

Keep breathing deeply, as though you were drinking the tea with your inhalations.

If the aromas and sensations were colours, what colours are invited into your whole body right now, with this next inhale? How are they moving within you, dancing and blending with other colours? Notice the speed, textures, and movement of this tea steeping within and around your body. Your chest, abdomen, spine, arms, hands, neck, face, brain, scalp, hair, hips, legs, feet...

Notice too, with your exhales, the colours that you are painting around the space as you breathe out. If this space within and around you were the canvas; the breath of tea, the paint; and you are the artist, what would the image of your inner space within your body, and outer space around you look like? Continuously sip and savour the tea as you paint the space with your imagination.

Invite in your final sip, and take a moment to be in awe of your imaginary canvas and the expression that came through you from the tea.

Kudos to you!
